The E100 Bible Challenge
Understanding the ‘big picture’ of the Bible
The Essential 100 Challenge (E100) is a Bible reading program that guides readers through the big picture of the Bible. The E100 is a carefully selected list of short Bible passages — 50 from the Old Testament and 50 from the New Testament. It enables you to get the big picture of God’s Word without getting bogged down and frustrated and in the process develop a daily Bible reading habit.
We are currently taking the E100 Challenge together as a church body by reading two sections each week on Mondays. You can keep up with the schedule here on this page as readings are posted week to week, or you may request a free reading guide for your own personal use by filling out the online form. Guides are also available at church.
The E100 Bible passages are usually one to two chapters in length and can easily be read in 10 minutes or less. The E100 Challenge takes a reader through all of the major types of biblical writing including Historical books, Poetry and Wisdom Literature, the Prophets, the Gospels, Acts, the Epistles and Revelation.
Take the challenge! Commit to reading 100 essential Bible passages over the 365 days of 2012. Make 2012 a year of personal increasing spiritual vitality as you grow in understanding of God’s Word.
