General Information about Providence Calvary Chapel

Sunday Morning Worship Service is at 10:00 a.m. and consists of a time of worship followed by a verse by verse study of the word of God.
Our primary focus at Providence Calvary Chapel is the Love of God for His people and the love of His saints for each other.
We believe we become more aware of God’s love and more able to live it out through the study of His word.  Therefore, we have a strong emphasis on studying the word of God for the building up of the body of Christ.
We keep bibles in the back of the church.  Should you forget yours, you may borrow one.  If you don’t have a bible, and can’t afford to buy one, we will give you one.  Just ask a greeter or usher.
We study the Bible book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, thus giving us the full counsel of God.

Membership:

We at Calvary Chapel believe that if you are in Christ you are a member of the true church (1 Corinthians 12:18).  Therefore, we do not require membership.

Children’s Ministry:

Child care is available for infants and toddlers during the entire service.  Children 3 years old and up are invited to worship with their parents, and then are encouraged to attend Bible Classes after our time of worship.  Bible classes are broken down into the following age groups: 3-5, 6-9, and 10-12.

Books

Our Book Store is located down stairs.  Bibles, Books, and Christian Music are stocked for your edification and are greatly discounted.  However, if you see a book you like but can’t afford it, we also have copies to loan out.  Look for books and audio items with a label marked “Library Copy”. You may sign these out for up to 2 weeks using the Library Sign Out Log.

You may also browse the Calvary Distribution web site, which is where we obtain most of our inventory.  You may also order from their web site. However, if you would like to take advantage of the discounts we offer, please just write down your selection and give it to Rich or Pastor Bill. We will order your selection for you. You may also make your request known by contacting us.

Audio / Video

CDs of all services are available upon request after the services by asking someone at the sound booth area.  MP3 on CD are available upon request.

Christian DVDs, audiotapes, and videos for children and families are available downstairs in our Audio/Video Lending Library.  Two tapes per family may be borrowed for a two week period.  This is done on a self serve basis using the sign out books.  Everyone is encouraged to borrow tapes to help you in your spiritual growth.
